ITALIAN WINE | SPECIALTY COFFEE | DELICIOUS FOOD

Located in the vibrant Holywell Hill, in the heart of St Albans, Baruccio is an Italian Aperitivo Bar with an osteriavibe, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. The interior is minimalistic and eccentric, designed to transport guests to the feel of an Italian Holiday.

During the day, we operate like a classic Italian coffee shop, serving delicious specialty coffee along with fresh pastries, cakes, toasties, salads and gourmet focaccia
sandwiches. In the evening, we turn the candles on, “bring out our inner demons”
and serve amazing cocktails and wines with platters and Italian-inspired small
bites using whenever possible seasonal local products.

A PRESTO!

OUR APERITIVO BAR

We have extensive experience sourcing the finest wines directly from Italy, working exclusively with producers who are committed to organic, sustainable, and regenerative agricultural practices. Our carefully curated selection reflects the diversity and quality of Italian winemaking, and we continuously update our list to bring you the most exceptional bottles available in the market. Each month, we host intimate wine tastings where we showcase some of the most outstanding Italian wines available in the UK, offering our guests the opportunity to discover new favourites and deepen their appreciation for Italian viticulture.

We also serve amazing cocktails, craft beer and soft drinks.

SINGLE ORIGIN SPECIALTY COFFEE

We are small and independent. Since we started the business in September 2025, we have built a very close relationship with our coffee roaster Mauro. All coffee beans used at Baruccio are sourced from single estate producers who practice sustainable farming methods. We favour small-batch roasting, to insure the unique terroir and delicate flavours of the origin shine. Lovingly roasted in North London, our coffee is delivered weekly and brewed with passion and attention to details by our talented baristas.

Cannoli Siciliani

Cannoli siciliani are one of the most beloved traditional desserts from Sicily, Italy. These sweet pastries consist of crispy, tube-shaped shells made from fried dough, filled with a rich and creamy mixture of sweetened ricotta cheese, often blended with candied fruit, chocolate chips, or pistachios.

With their perfect balance of crunch and creaminess, cannoli siciliani capture the essence of Italian sweetness and craftsmanship.

Have you tried them at Baruccio?
