2019 Contrada Crasà Etna Rosso DOC

Born on the volcanic slopes of Mount Etna, this elegant red by Vigneti Vecchio is crafted mainly from Nerello Mascalese with a touch of local white grapes. Deep ruby in colour, it opens with aromas of cherry, raspberry, incense, liquorice and hibiscus, layered with smoky and spicy notes.

On the palate, it is refined and vibrant, balancing freshness with complexity. Aged partly in tonneaux and partly in steel before resting in bottle, it showcases both the strength of volcanic soil and the finesse of artisanal winemaking.

Perfect with roasted meats, mushroom dishes and mature cheeses, Contrada Crasà is a pure expression of Etna’s unique terroir and centuries-old viticulture.
